As announced in the May 2021 edition of the Cole Sports Chiropractic & Rehab eNewsletter, my staff and I have now joined Sentara Healthcare and closed Cole Sports Chiropractic and Rehab, LLC. I am so excited to share with you the details about what this change will mean for you as a patient of Cole Sports Chiropractic & Rehab.
How will moving to Sentara Healthcare benefit our patients?
Office Location – Dr. Cole will remain at his current office at the present time with a year-end goal of moving into the multi-disciplinary Sentara facility located across the 610 next to Staples. When we do move, it will not be far and our new location will offer a full complement of healthcare providers and services under one roof.
Insurance – Upon the completion of our insurance credentialing, a wider range of insurance providers will be accepted under Sentara Healthcare than previously offered under Cole Sports Chiropractic & Rehab, LLC.
Greater Resources and Access to Specialists – Sentara Healthcare was recently named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in the nation for 2021 by Fortune and IBM Watson Health. By joining Sentara Healthcare, Dr. Cole’s patients will have access to a comprehensive healthcare system that offers fully integrated patient care resources, including specialty physicians and services.
Physical Therapy Treatment – In the coming months, we will be adding a licensed physical therapist to our treatment team! If you are a patient without full chiropractic insurance benefits (for example, those covered through Medicare or Tricare), this change could lead to a large reduction in your out-of-pocket treatment cost.
Educational Opportunities – Under the umbrella of Sentara Healthcare, my staff and I will have access to expansive continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest findings in our field and expand services focused on advancing your level of care.
