A new study has show that conservative care (like the type provided in our office) delivers similar success to surgery for rotator cuff tears. Here’s what it said:

“The operative and nonoperative groups at 5-year follow-up were not significantly different. Nonoperative treatment is an effective & lasting option for many patients with a chronic, full-thickness rotator cuff tear.”
